As you fill busy days of the holiday season with extra activities and longer to do lists, things may go more smoothly with your children if you set up mini sensory spaces.

For example, If you find you will be spending lots of time in the car, put a small basket of sensory activities next to your children.  If your children are old enough to use masking tape, put a couple of rolls in the basket.  Challenge them to make the biggest, stickiest ball they can.  The unwinding, sticking and scrunching will keep them busy, their tactile senses will get some work and you might have an extra quiet moment to plan out your next to do!

Wishing you and yours a wonderful holiday season,
