I love my job. The most rewarding thing about my job is watching children progress from a limited means of communicating to using full sentences.

I have students who I have worked with since they were three without any or few words to using complete sentences and having back and forth exchanges with adults and peers outside of their immediate family. I have also worked with students who were nonverbal who remained nonverbal but became proficient using other means of communicating. Every day is different and every child is different and I love that about my job.
