As part of a fall series, Barrett Family Wellness Center will be hosting Preschool Development Play & Learn Events at multiple libraries in the surrounding areas throughout the month of October. We invite you to bring your preschooler by to any or all of these programs to play and learn!
What is this event?
At these events, your child will participate in fun and engaging sensory stations known to stimulate both language and play. While your child plays, you will have the opportunity to talk with speech and occupational therapists to gain insight into your child’s development and learn what upcoming developmental milestones to expect. You are encouraged to ask any questions or present any concerns that you might have about your child’s development and our staff will provide you with their expert feedback.
If you have specific questions for a therapist or would like the opportunity to speak with a speech or occupational therapist one-on-one, you can sign up for a 10 minute slot using the link below. There are spots available at every library event.
Is there a cost or obligation?
This event is entirely free to you. Its goal is to reassure, educate and encourage you as you support and encourage your child’s wholesome and healthy development.
Who is this event for?
